Arts in North Vancouver - Values + Practices

The North Vancouver Recreation & Culture Commission recognizes the inherent and instrumental value of both community-based and professional arts practices as having important roles in the spectrum of activities that make up a creative community. In this context, culture is perhaps more inclusively understood as incorporating traditional and non-traditional arts disciplines, but extends also to embrace diverse cultural traditions, creative community engagement and creative sector industries.
