Drop by the North Vancouver District Hall's District Foyer Gallery to enjoy the artistic works of Peter Manning and Tetiana Zaruba.

Peter Manning’s acrylic paintings explore life and activities associated with water. Born in London, England he immigrated to Canada in 1975 and has resided in Vancouver since 1980. “Having come from an island and now living in a coastal city, I’m fascinated with the ever-changing aspects of reflection, light and movement (with water).” Peter graduated from Bournemouth College of Art in graphic design and worked as a designer and art director for ad agencies, magazine and private companies.

Tetiana Zaruba designs unique handmade jewellery and embroidered fashion that combine Ukrainian Folk and North – West Traditional motives. She has 20 years’ experience designing fashion and accessories with clients from the film, music and dance industries. She enjoys participating in the craft fairs across the Lower Mainland where she can celebrate her Ukrainian culture through her genuine bead work. Tetiana was born in Poltava, Ukraine and attended the Academy of Culture and Music in Kharkiv. She obtained her Masters in Traditional Arts and Folk Studies.
