Public Art Selection Panels
An Artist Selection Panel is convened for each new public art project. Each panel includes representation from the local artistic community, the project design team, and the NV Public Art Advisory Committee. The purpose of the Artist Selection Panel is to select the highest qualified artist or artist team to complete the project.
It is important that this group be able to work together as a team, that they believe in and support the established process, and feel comfortable with the project for which they are selecting an artist. In addition, each panelist should be able to dedicate sufficient time to review all of the applicant's material.
