FANS - Distinguished Artist Award
The FANS Distinguished Artist Award honours North and West Vancouver artists who have created a substantial, nationally recognized body of work in the performing. visual, literary or media arts.
The first FANS Distinguished Artist Award was presented in 1995. Since that time the Award has been given to many of the North Shore's best actors, painters, poets, First Nation carvers, musicians and composers. Through this award, FANS seeks to foster a creative legacy that celebrates outstanding artistry and bears witness to the heights that can be achieved when artists follow their dreams.
FANS funds are managed by the North Shore Community Foundation. As a registered charity, the Society can issue tax receipts for donations of $25 or more.
