- Established in 1995, the purpose of FANS is to increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the arts through a variety of programs. Each year the Society accepts applications for the Don S. Williams Grant that recognizes the artistic contributions and accomplishment of North Shore artists who have demonstrated a maturity of talent. The 2013 application deadline for the Don S. Williams Grant is May 13, 2013, 4pm.
- The FANS Distinguished Artist Award is intended to honour North and West Vancouver artists who have created a substantial, nationally recognized body of work in the performing. visual, literary or media arts. The 2013 deadline for Distinguished Artist Award Nominations is April 29, 2013, 4pm.
- Established by a legacy gift from Judy Dennis in 1994, the fund is to assist emerging artists with funding for ongoing training. The granting is adjudicated by the North Shore Community Foundation's Grants Committee. The fund can accept donations from all sources. The Board of Directors distributes the income from this fund annually.
- TELUS Community Boards are an innovative effort that puts decision-making in the hands of local leaders who know their communities best. Since inception in 2006, the TELUS Vancouver Community Board has donated $3.8 million to 313 projects. In 2010, it donated $600,000 to 49 projects. For 2011, the Board has an annual donation budget of $800,000.
