June 18, 2020 - City of North Vancouver Mayor and Council will recognize the contributions of artists and developers at a special Public Art Awards ceremony to take place in Council Chambers at City Hall on Monday June 24th, 2013 at 6 pm.
May 9, 2021 - The City of North Vancouver is pleased to announce the return of its highly successful music series, Concerts in the Square, as well as opportunities for local performers. This year's Concerts in the Square summer series will present free contemporary concerts on Saturdays in August. A Children's Festival will debut on Saturday August 24th and the popular Seniors Strawberry Tea will return on Sunday August 25th.
North Shore Culture Days happens on September 27, 28, 29, 2013 in creative places and spaces from Deep Cove to Horseshoe Bay with FREE activities from a wide range of disciplines including: visual arts, music, dance, theatre, heritage, and literature.
October 15, 2012, North Vancouver - Popular North Shore musician Adam Woodall and visual artist Anne Gudrun will accept this year’s Don S. Williams Grants at the FANS Tribute to the Arts taking place on October 25, 2012. Established in 1995, the purpose of FANS (the Fund for the Arts on the North Shore) is to bring awareness to the wealth of artistic talent that exists on the North Shore.

January 11, 2021 - The Province announced that it would be implementing a number of changes to the allocation of community gaming grants. In July 2011, Premier Christy Clark asked Skip Triplett to conduct an independent review of the Province’s Community Gaming Grant system. In response to Mr. Triplett's report on the review, which provides 16 options for consideration, the Province will reinstate funding eligibility for adult arts and sports organizations, environmental groups and animal welfare agencies.

October 7, 2010, NORTH VANCOUVER - With the generous support of the Michael O'Brian Family Foundation, North Vancouver's Presentation House Gallery joins three major institutions to launch Satellite Gallery.
